How To: Unlock Windows Vista for Custom Themes

Loading ...VistaGlazz is a software used for patching your system and make Windows Vista a little more transparent. The program you are about to use will never delete the original files from your system, instead it will make a copy of the original file, patch the copy and rename the original to a backup extension.
After you downloaded the software, (if you didn’t you cand download it from here ), run the setup to install it. Click next choose a directory were would you like to install it and you’re done. After the setup has finished installing the program be sure you restart your system.
Now go to the directory you chosen the install the program and run VistaGlazz. Then run VistaGlazz and click I agree .
Click on the Patch system button.
The gray colour of the shield means not patched yet 
.
Click the Patch Originals button to let VistaGlazz patch your system files.
After you did this restart you computer and run VistaGlazz again. You will notice that the small shield turned to green colour 
.
This means that the system files are patched and you can start now to use custom visual styles. If you want to return to the unpatched state click the patch system button again. It will provide you with the option to unpatch your system files.
Due to the fact that many Vista users were annoyed by the lack of transparency in maximized windows VistaGlazz can patch your Windows Aero style.
To patch the Windows Aero Style click on the Patch style button 
.
After you did this restart the computer. You will notice that the small shield has turned to green 
.
If you wish to return to the unpatched state click again on the Patch style button .

i installed vista theme to my computer which has windows xp setup.when i installed it it worked ok but after i shut down my comp and attended to it the next day it refused completely to boot.what might be the problem pease help to unlock the setup.

Okay, it tells me that my one or more of the VistaGlazz essential files are corrupt. Could the reason be that SP1 is messing with it? I’m open to suggestions. Thanks.
