How to: Switch back to the classic start menu in Windows Vista

With the new Windows Vista we can easily say that Microsoft removed the classic design but apparently the design is still present in the latest OS. In this tutorial we will explain you how you can activate the classic view of the start menu in Windows Vista.
First step in beginning this tutorial is to right-click the taskbar and select Properties .

From the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties select Start Menu like in the picture below.

Then you can select Customize if you want to customize the items that will appear in the Start Menu. If you don’t want to add anything then simply click OK.

Now click OK in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties to activate the Classic Start Menu and you’re done. You should see the same Start Menu like in the picture below.
