To begin we must go to Control Panel. To do this press the Start Orb and select Control Panel.

In the Control Panel select Power Options.
In the Power Options select Choose what the power buttons do.
In the System Settings press the Sleep button marked with red in our picture.
After you pressed the button select Shut Down like we did in the picture below. After you did this press Save changes and you’re done!

Mine already says Shutdown but when I hover my mouse over the button it says:”keeps your session in memory and puts the computer in a low-power state so that you can quickly resume working”….I don’t want to put it in a low-power state, I want it to shut down.

@kathy and @Techll:
Yea People.. you are rite.. it doesn’t work for me too…
But now i found out the solution For this Issue..
The process is
Click “Start –> Control Panel –> Power Options”
Now when you are at the “Select Power Plan” Dialog Box Click On “Change Plan settings” on any of the ‘preferred plans’ and select “Change advanced Power settings” From there you’ll get a another “Power Options” settings box from which you can change the Shutdown Buttons Settings from “Sleep –> to –> Shutdown
“This is how the Windows Looks like ”
